Waste Paper Collecting System

For proving it's fussiness on environment, DÖNKASAN uses the " CONTAINER " system for the first time in our country. We dispose containers and compactors to places, where recovered paper can be produced. For being able to carry these containers easily and silently, we use special trucks equipped by hooked lifters.

For the companies who do not have covered areas for collecting paper, DÖNKASAN provides 4,5 mt. tall, 2,5 mt. wide and 2,2 mt. high containers. With this system, the driver is able to lift the filled container up and put the new empty one back in just 3 minutes, using the buttons placed his own seat. With this system we are saving time and work in lifting and lowering.





Our company needs at least 1 tone of paper guarantee from its customers, whom we give service with our own vehicles and possibilities. But if they deliver to us, we even accept papers measured by kg.

 
Disorganized and mixed papers which come for processing are selected and refined from strange materials by our workers. These papers are separated according to their types, and sent to fragmenters to purify them from dust. After these steps are completed, these papers are bale pressed automatically and sent to fabrics.  Especially papers made from 100% cellulose are processed by cleaning units, which can be used in line instead of cellulose after they are refined.

Recovered papers are baled in our presses which have a power of 100 tones, so they are extremely pressed. This removes the possibility of fire and other external factors. Papers baled with this system:

  • Relieve stocking areas
  • Reduce intra-company delivering fees
  • Reduce the effects of external factors
  • Reduce the possibility of fire.

 

 


 

Goods obtained after the process of baling, are divided into 2 groups: Purely cellulose goods (pose A, Kraft, 1. quality) and goods mixed with recovered paper and cellulose (pose B, Newspaper, Cement). Both groups are produced appropriate to the norms in USA and Europe.

 Dönkasan ended 2003 with a total amount of 170.642 tones of operation which is %10 more than 2002. 81.223tones/year is processed in its own establishments whereas 89.238tones/year is processed in other establishments. Total amount collected by Dönkasan in 2003 is 13.5% of Turkey’s recovered paper collection.
